As we move closer to the 1 October introduction of new allocation of tips and gratuities legislation, there is pressure mounting on businesses where tips contribute to employee earnings to ensure they have robust, fair and transparent policies in place. Insufficient or outdated tip practices can leave businesses exposed to both legal and tax complications. As such, it’s hugely important that organisations are well-prepared.
